Premium Clean recruits franchise partners for spring demand peak

Premium Clean New Zealand has opened a spring franchise recruitment drive, seeking local partners in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and regional centres. The company says the expansion is a response to a sharp rise in bookings for residential house cleaning and commercial facilities maintenance as property owners and managers prepare for the seasonal shift.

Premium Clean describes itself as an ISO-certified, tech-enabled commercial and residential cleaning provider operating nationwide. Its franchise partners are presented as a way to extend local coverage while keeping national standards, with the company citing fully insured, background-checked local staff and IICRC-approved methods across its network.

Why spring drives the booking surge

The company says warmer weather brings demand for carpet cleaning, exterior soft washing and deep-cleaning work. That demand is not confined to households. Premium Clean’s general manager, Abhi Lal, argues the commercial side of spring cleaning is often overlooked.

“Spring cleaning is often viewed through a purely residential lens, but for business owners and property managers, it represents a critical seasonal reset,” Lal said. “Over the cold winter months, commercial facilities accumulate unseen soil, moisture, and dust that compromise indoor air quality and building presentation. Our spring expansion ensures local businesses and site managers have trained franchise partners on the ground to restore workplace readiness, elevate professional standards, and present welcoming environments for returning clients and staff.”

The claim behind the recruitment drive is straightforward: bookings have risen, and the company wants more operators on the ground to service them. For property managers, the pitch is about timing as much as cleaning — getting buildings back to a presentable state before the end-of-year period, when returning clients and staff form their first impression of a site.

What franchise partners are being offered

Premium Clean is framing the opportunity as a turnkey route into business ownership. In its account, franchisees get an established national brand, operational support and access to the company’s booking technology, rather than having to build a customer base and scheduling system from scratch.

The company says every franchise partner uses fully insured, background-checked local staff and IICRC-approved methods, and that the network’s eco-friendly and probiotic cleaning services are tailored to local communities. Those standards are presented as the reason a national brand can operate through locally owned businesses without the service varying from one region to the next.

For people considering buying in, the offer rests on three things the company says it supplies: brand recognition, back-office and operational support, and the technology that takes bookings. What the release does not disclose is the cost of a franchise, the expected revenue for a partner, or the number of partners the company intends to sign in this drive.

Faster booking for customers

On the customer side, Premium Clean says the expansion is intended to deliver faster service and local accountability backed by national standards. Clients can book through the company’s digital app or online platform in under 60 seconds, according to the release — a detail aimed at the busy end-of-year period, when scheduling speed matters to offices and property managers working to fixed dates.

The company says the combination of local operators and a central booking system is what allows it to promise both speed and consistency. Whether that holds as the network grows will depend on how quickly new partners are brought up to the same operating standard, which the company says is enforced through its vetting and method requirements.

What it means for businesses

For SME owners and site managers, the practical effect of the expansion is more choice of local cleaning providers operating under a national brand, with the company promising faster response and consistent methods. Commercial premises that have gone through winter with reduced attention to exterior surfaces, carpets and ventilation-adjacent dust are the target market.

For would-be franchisees, the drive is one of several routes into service-sector ownership, with the trade-off being that the brand, the booking platform and the operating standards sit with the franchisor rather than the operator. Premium Clean says its model removes much of the setup burden; the commercial terms behind that arrangement are not set out in the announcement.

The recruitment covers Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, and regional centres, with the company aligning the timing directly with anticipated peak spring and summer demand.
